2013 West Coast Blues

MAIN STAGE
The show started at the dot of eight... to a standing room only house. The crowd was pumped and show openers, Douglas Watson R&B Revue, did not disappoint with their unique Chicago styles blues. An awesome set from an amazing band and the crowd was primed for the main stage headliner, Steve Strongman, who then took the energy level in the room to a whole new galaxy!... Proving beyond any doubt why he’s Canada’s Top Bluesman. An impossible guitar act to follow for anyone but the legendary Bill Durst. Enjoy the photo essay below and remember, the world class Blues talent for Main Stage Bluesfest 2013 all hail from Southwestern Ontario!

FRIDAY NIGHT WALKABOUT BLUES
2013 Marked the biggest Walkabout crowd in the history of the Bluesfest! The night began with pouring rain but that stopped just as the event was getting underway... and all was perfect from then to close! Again this year, a different taste of live Blues was featured at seven different venues. While some found their spot and didn’t budge, others did the Walkabout with hopes of a seven-stop-hop in the historic downtown core of Goderich... The heart of Ontario’s West Coast. Enjoy this photo essay of one great night! A sell-out crowd and a very good time had by all.
